Q: What types of Capabilities does Star Snax offer its partners?

A: Star Snax offers a full range of Co-manufacturing and Private Label manufacturing capabilities, including state-of-the-art production processes, Product Sensory Evaluations, packing development and design as well as shipping and distribution. We work hand-in-hand with our customers to develop unique new snack flavors, shapes, and concepts.

Q: How do your products come packaged?

A: Star Snax has the capability to bag chips in all sizes. Most chips are shipped in cases containing 12 units, or as prescribed by our customer. Cases are either standard or retail ready with perforated openings to allow the retailer to open and sit on the shelf. We also offer display units for Club Stores and promotions.

Q: Where can your products ship?

A: Being centrally located on the eastern seaboard, we are in an ideal location to ship all over the US. 1/3 of the US population is within 500 miles of our facility. We additionally ship internationally.

Q: What is the shelf life of your product?

A: The shelf life of our products ranges from 120 to 240 days depending upon the preference of the customer and the durability of the bag.

Q: Are your products Kosher?

A: Yes, most are certified Kosher through Chicago Rabbinic Council (cRc), although other certifying agencies can be used at the request of our customers.

Q: Are there minimum order quantities?

A: Yes. Minimum order quantities depend upon several factors, including bag size, product, and product specifications. Usually, the minimum order quantity is a certain number of pallets.

Q: If I have an idea for a new product or flavor for Star Snax, how do I submit it?

A: We love to hear about your ideas! Contact our customer service department at customerservice@ssnax.com to submit your idea. Star Snax holds a monthly innovation meeting where new ideas and products are reviewed so bring it on!

Q: I have an idea for a new product or flavor for my company…will Star Snax help me develop it?

A: There is a good probability and we are more than ready to speak with you about your ideas. Fees may be charged according to development hours and line time.

Q: Are any of Star Snax products Organic? Gluten-Free?

A: Yes and yes. We manufacture various products that fall into both categories. Contact us for a full list, or fill out the form to inquire.

Q: Where can I purchase Star Snax snack products?

A: Star Snax is primarily a Co-Manufacturer for large snack food companies and Private Label products for retailers under their brand name. Star Snax’s “Mother’s Farm” brand is available at some retailers through a distributor network.

Q: Do you have tree nuts or peanuts in your facility?

A: No, we do not have any nuts in our facility.

Q: Are there any other allergens in your facility.

A: We have dairy allergens and follow a strict protocol to ensure proper sanitation procedures following every production.

Q: Do you offer Salsa to match your chip offerings?

A: Sorry, no.
